We are happy to announce the winners of the 2024 LIFT( Investment for Future Transformation) Challenge! This year, team Sustainable Impact (photos below) from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, University of Virginia Darden School of Business and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business placed first in the LIFT challenge sponsored by Bank of America. Their proposal focused on using blended finance to create a compressed biogas facility in India.
This year’s Awards Gala will begin with a reception in the Kenan Center Lounge, followed by the dinner and awards ceremony in the Kenan Center Dining Room featuring renowned chef Jocob Boehm of Snap Pea.
ACES’ Sustainability Fellow and PhD Student Angie Fairchild won the 2022 Business for a Better World Dissertation Proposal Competition and presented her research during the Business for a Better World Research Symposium on September 23.
