William Morketter is a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill studying Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. His professional interests include sustainability marketing and market research. Will grew up in Wilmington, NC, close to the ocean, and drew many of his hobbies from the water, including surfing and paddleboarding. This literal and figurative closeness to the water developed his fascination and passion for sustainability. Will has spent the past year as a member of Carolina GREEN Team, a club devoted to explaining what the environment is, as well as its associated impacts, to young students in the Chapel Hill area. Will also volunteered as a tutor with HYPE, a campus organization providing underserved children with after-school tutoring and mentorship. He previously held an internship in digital marketing with Connected Investors, pairing technology with the business world. Upon graduating, he intends to work in market research to identify target markets and customers to ultimately guide company strategy and maintain competitiveness.
