Will Nichols is pursuing degrees in Business Administration and Environmental Studies with a Sustainability focus. He is a Luther Hodges and Gene Clark Memorial Scholar, and is the founder and president of SolarEquity, a non-profit that solarizes affordable housing across the state of North Carolina. His academic interests revolve around affordable housing and renewable energy, and he intends on entering the environmental consulting industry after graduation. As a part of ACES, Will is conducting research on the sustainable textiles and apparel industry in North Carolina, focusing specifically on leveraging public funds to decarbonize the textile manufacturing process.
