Taylor Maffeo is a rising senior at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, majoring in Advertising & Public Relations with a minor in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. She is from Wake Forest, North Carolina and has a passion for both fashion and sustainability. In her spare time, she loves exploring the outdoors, thrift shopping and learning to make textile art. This summer, she is eager to learn about alternative fibers and dyes and how they can be used to reimagine sustainability in the textile industry.
