Sarah Hitchcock is a rising sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in Political Science and double minoring in Environmental Science and Environmental Justice. This past summer, she was a member of AmeriCorps’ Generation Teach STEAM Academy Teaching Fellowship, during which she collaborated with team members to create and lead lessons on Law and Fitness for middle school students. She is interested in pursuing environmental law and advocating for the passage of environmentally beneficial policies, especially regarding food insecurity and sustainable agricultural practices. At UNC, she is the social media chair of UNC’s Club Gymnastics team, a Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity member and a proud member of Sigma Rho Lambda, UNC’s only Jewish-interest sorority.
