Sarah Diemel is a rising senior majoring in Environmental Science with a double minor in Biology and Women & Gender Studies. She is excited to integrate green chemistry into the ACES team where she will be researching green chemistry protocols and efforts to emphasize its importance in sustainability and sustainable business practices. She enjoys the intersection of chemistry and environmental science through writing; she also has a deep interest in connecting with as many diverse communities as possible. She plans to create story maps that convey powerful messages about the necessity of green chemistry and sustainability practice, and write articles highlighting student and faculty based initiatives that promote sustainability.
