Sarah Ellen Dean is a rising junior double majoring in Environmental Studies and Studio Art. She is highly passionate about the intersection of sustainability and design. This summer, she will work with ACES where she will focus on sustainable textiles and apparel. She is particularly excited to learn more about this topic because in her art practice; textiles are her primary medium. Outside of her practice, she engages with textiles as a costume designer and through Carolina Thrift. Sarah Ellen is excited to learn more about how her passions for sustainability and design intersect this summer with ACES.
