Sarah Crockett

ClimateCAP Fellow

Sarah Crockett is a first-year MBA student at UNC Kenan-Flagler concentrating in Sustainable Enterprise. Sarah went to Duke University for her undergraduate degree and loves being back in the Research Triangle once again. After college, Sarah worked at a non-profit organization in Buenos Aires, Argentina called Mujeres 2000, providing business education and microloans to disadvantaged women. Upon her return to the United States, Sarah searched for a social-impact for-profit, finding a home in Providence, RI with Virgin Pulse, a global company that provides employee well-being solutions to create a healthier and more productive workforce. Now at Kenan-Flagler, Sarah is a Forte and Buckalew Fellow, and serves on the first-year leadership teams for Net Impact and Carolina Women in Business.
From composting to plant-based eating, Sarah is extremely passionate about sustainable living in her own daily life and hopes to bring that passion to business leaders around the world. Sarah is serving as this year’s ClimateCAP Summit Fellow, a conference in February 2020 focused on preparing MBA students and industry leaders for the financial risks and opportunities of climate change.
