Rachel is a rising sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina majoring in Environmental Studies with minors in Public Relations and Italian. This semester, she interviewed students and professionals during the LIFT Challenge to share their stories, increase awareness about blended finance and drive future change. Rachel is a member of the marketing committee of the Chapel Hill Alt. Protein Project, an initiative working to accelerate the development of plant-based, cultivated and fermentation-derived alternatives to conventional meat, eggs and dairy. She is passionate about improving sustainability in cities, implementing green infrastructure and producing and distributing food more sustainably. Outside of the classroom, you can find Rachel traveling, rock climbing, or spending time outside with family and friends.
