Malvika Venkatesh is a junior from Greensboro, NC, double majoring in Environmental Studies and Economics and minoring in Data Science. She is passionate about creating sustainable strategies that can be used to create socially equitable impacts. Malvika’s past experiences in creating sustainable education programs for the community with the North Carolina Botanical Garden and UNC Institute for the Environment motivate her to continue to encourage environmental awareness and action. She is working towards a future career in directing business initiatives and innovations to follow a circular and equitable model. Aside from professional ambitions, Malvika enjoys cooking, practicing yoga and sustainable fashion.
