Accelerating progress in social and environmental sustainability

Lillian Curme

CSE Leadership Associate

Lillian Curme is a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill studying Business Administration, Sustainability Studies, and City Planning. She is interested in the potential of interactions between consumers and the private sector to drive the cultural prioritization of social and environmental sustainability. Lillian came to this position with the Center for Sustainable Enterprise when she and one of her peers, Ansley Hardison, recognized that sustainability needed to be a larger focus of the Kenan Flagler Undergraduate Business Program in order to create the potential for large-scale change by better educating future business leaders. In her time at Chapel Hill, Lillian has worked on multiple projects for Consult Your Community, a student-run consulting organization for local businesses and non-profits, and volunteered as an English tutor for Enrich ELL. Furthermore, she has worked as the lead business analyst intern for Keru, a social impact and education start-up in Shanghai, China and this past summer, she was a summer analyst for Altman Solon, the world’s leading TMT consulting firm.
