Jason Yan is a sophomore from Charlotte, NC. He is majoring in Public Health: Environmental Health Sciences with a minor in Data Science. He is passionate about the intersection of sustainability and human health and wants to aid in mitigating structural equity gaps through DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging) awareness. Outside of academics, Jason is a part of UNC Student Government’s Environmental Affairs Branch, a research assistant at the Gillings School of Public Health and enjoys playing tennis.
