Grant Alexander is a rising junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he is pursuing a dual degree in International Politics and Public Policy with some business-oriented coursework in Sustainable Enterprise. He is motivated by opportunities to center sustainability and equity in management, research, finance and data analysis for institutions across sectors. This summer Grant has the opportunity to research the role of impact investing and blended finance in mobility. He is excited to learn about the ways in which profit driven companies and institutions are incorporating sustainable enterprises into their investment portfolio and more specifically, how the network of investors can be leveraged within North Carolina to build a more efficient and environmentally friendly network for the transport of goods and raw materials along the supply chain.
