Evan Canavan is a junior from Ridgefield, Connecticut double majoring in Environmental Science and Music. His professional interests include blended finance and impact investing. In past experiences, Evan has worked in finance specializing in emerging markets and green infrastructure projects. Around campus, he is Co-Director of a freshman orientation program, Carolina Kickoff, that provides a social justice focused introduction to life at Carolina. Evan is also a violinist in the UNC symphony orchestra and chamber music programs, performing regularly at public events and around campus. Upon graduating, he hopes to continue pursuing his passions for sustainability, social equity, and financial strategy
