The UNC Clean Tech Summit was back in-person in 2022 with over 810 total registrants, half of those students from UNC Chapel Hill and our sister Triangle Universities. The event offered 7 tracks including green Hydrogen for a Carbon-free Economy, Ocean-centric Climate Solutions, The Global Energy Transition, Green Finance and Investing in our Future, Weaving a Sustainable Future through Textile Innovations, the Rise of Alternative Proteins and Mobility. Dr. Olga Hawn, Jeff Mittelstadt and Tracy Triggs-Matthews moderated panels on “Investing in Low-and Middle-Income Markets to Address Climate Change.”
“Supply Chains: Building in Resilience and Scalability, “Blended Finance” and “Data-driven and Purpose-driven ESG Integration.” The Center also hosted a virtual career fair with over 60 students and 19 organizations gathering to discuss opportunities in the clean tech space.
