The 2023 LIFT Challenge came to an exciting conclusion on Saturday, February 11, with team Hempact Collective taking home the top prize of $10,000. This group of four undergraduate students from UNC-Chapel Hill proposed supplying micro-loans to farmers in India to harvest hemp – a carbon sequestering and much less resource-intensive crop.

The Stacia L. Wood Social Impact Summer Grants (SISG) provides financial support to MBA students during their summer internship with organizations that make a positive social impact. Last summer, MBA students Andrew Granastein and Naz Shakib were recipients of SISG.

Net Impact Receives Gold Status for 2022-23

The MBA Net Impact Chapter for UNC Kenan-Flagler has achieved gold status for 2022-23, recognizing it as one of the finest chapters in Net Impact’s 300+ chapter community. Congratulations to the leaders and members of our terrific Net Impact club!
